A return client means double the fun for the Rachel Reider Interiors team. Having honed in on their design style at their primary suburban residence, we were excited to turn our attention to their vacation home in Mashpee, MA. The relaxed atmosphere of the Cape calls for a balance of casual, family-friendly spaces and sophisticated common areas for entertaining guests. Situated on the waterfront, blue and green hues were paired with crisp white to tie back to the coastal environment. Natural textures, such as raffia light fixtures, linen-like drapes, and rope accents, provide an organic contrast to bold fabrics and patterned wallcoverings. Unique art is placed throughout, with wall-mounted, three dimensional sculptural glass providing a focal point in the dining room. Infused with a modern, family-functional vibe, the home is ready to serve as a stylish seasonal escape for this busy family of six.
